Our search for a sunroom started 2 years before finding Backyard Paradise by SunCo.  We had a couple of companies come out to give us quotes. When we saw the quality they offered, we waited for better options.  We happened to drive by Backyard Paradise in Headingley and noticed their displays outside. The quality of the build was evident in the display models.

We met with Roger to get a quote and discuss our options.  Roger was easy to deal with and gave us a no pressure sales pitch.  A week after his visit we decided this was the sunroom for us.  Backyard Paradise took care of everything from permits, to making sure the structure of our current deck was safe as well as carpet samples and hiring an electrician.  All the staff that we dealt with were kind, helpful, and very efficient at their jobs.

The deck where we put the sunroom is east facing and it was always too hot to go onto until 4:00 in the afternoon. The addition has changed our life in so many ways; allowing us to sit out first thing in the morning until late evening, enjoying the rainfall and fresh air coming in the large windows. When company‘s over, it’s a pleasure enjoying the views around us. We’ve been able to use the sunroom from March to November.

We had our sunroom built over 10 years ago and it is still like new! We’ve never had an issue with it from day 1 and even after all these years, the doors and windows open and close with ease and have no leaks. Just goes to show how well SunCo builds their sunrooms. The professionalism and service we received was top notch. With this addition to our house, it has added such a nice space to enjoy.

I just got my sunroom installed this past week and am enjoying it so much already. The guys installing were great to deal with, they did an awesome job cleaning all the windows and installing my carpet also.

We have enjoyed our sunroom for over 20 years and still love, enjoy, and share it whenever we can. We even had our daughter’s wedding in the backyard recently. Birthdays, anniversaries, dinner parties, so many wonderful memories were created here, and will be for many more years! It is simply our favourite room from spring to fall. The Final Jewel in the Crown

After a sunroom being planned for 20+ years, we had dozens of drawings and ideas explored and rejected. Then last year after just a few conversations with Roger, a realistic final plan came into being. Our deck/ sunroom is almost completed. Just the railings to be installed.

Erwin and Mark (the dynamic duo, our talented and meticulous construction team), Roger, Jane, Will, Russ, Iurii and all the other folks that fabricated the structure and created CAD drawings, that we didn’t have a chance to meet in person, we so appreciate all for your hard work.

One of our concerns was, will the addition look like an after thought? The design, materials and colour choices all came together like a symphonic work and the final product looks like it was designed with the house. With incredible attention to detail, Erwin and Mark have constructed our lake side glassed in resort paradise with only a commute time of stepping out the back door.

To each and everyone from Backyard Paradise that worked on our project, a very heartfelt thank you. Our backyard truly is a paradise that will be enjoyed for many years to come.
